I'd like to bring everyone up-to-speed as we continue to hammer away at NHC Podcasts and I just wanted to give some updates:
1. Podcasts of Note:
Dr. Sam did his first podcast and it was great. Over 15 minutes of his outlook on education, North Harris College and ... soccer.
We also posted our first Spanish language podcast --an interview with Maria Luna that was recorded at one of the area spanish language television stations. If you have not done so, please check it out at:
http://northharriscollege.com/goto/podcasts2. We will have new equipment that will allow us to work as a mobile outfit for the Fall/Spring '06 term. When speakers come, or when we'd like to be able to record remotely, we will be able to do this with wireless microphones and laptop.
3. Jill Hinkle worked on the logo which appears on the NHC front page and in iTunes when you subscribe to the NHC channel... it looks fantastic and also appears on the myNHC (Campus Cruiser) homepage.
... oh yeah, before I forget...
4. We are now listed as a podcast channel on iTunes. All you have to do is open iTunes, goto podcasts, and type in North Harris College ... North Harris College appears and you can subscribe and listen to all the great 'casts we've posted to date!
