Child Development & Family Studies
The Child Development and Family Studies program prepares individuals for employment as program directors/administrators of child care centers and early childhood programs, preschool teachers, public school aides and teachers in Headstart and Montessori programs.

Criminal Justice
The Criminal Justice Program at Lone Star College-North Harris offers academic courses in criminal justice that have been approved by the Texas Coordinating Board of Higher Education to transfer to all public colleges and universities in Texas that have criminal justice programs.

The Lone Star College-North Harris Teacher Certification and Education (TCEP) Program, an alternative certification program, is the result of a collaborative effort between Lone Star College-North Harris and local school districts to provide quality, affordable teacher certification to assist in meeting the personnel needs of area school districts.
